The Husqvarna 350 chainsaw is a high powered industrial type chain saw for both residential use and land owners a like. If you are looking for a chainsaw that will take it to the limits, then the 350 husqvarna could be one of the best choices in a chain saw that you could make.
So what makes the 350 such a good saw? To start with it has an 18" bar and a 3.2 horsepower engine. It also has a vibration dampening system built into it which helps to avoid a lot of unnecessary strain on the user. It is lightweight, which makes for very easy handling. Because of the weight, it is very good for trimming tree branches, it is also a perfect chainsaw for cutting firewood as well.
There is one issue with the husqvarna 350 that seems to crop up a lot though. The muffler on them tends to fall off, this is caused by the screws coming loose and falling out because of the vibrations when using the chain saw for long periods of time. However, there is a way to fix this problem with out going out a lot of money. On the Husqvarna 353 chainsaw there is a muffler guard which can be easily fitted to the 350, this will prevent the muffler from falling off again.
If you are not an experienced chainsaw user, you will find that the 350 can be a little bit tricky to start when cold. Like any other chainsaw that you start from cold you flick the choke switch on, give the chainsaw about three or four pulls until it fires, then you knock the choke off and pull again, by this time your saw should have started.
However, with the 350 there is a slight difference. When you flick the choke switch on and pull the cord for starting about two to four times, you will notice on the third or fourth pull that the saw makes a different noise, this is the time when you knock the choke off and pull again. You will find that your 350 will start straight away. If you do not knock the choke off to see if the saw will fire you will be wasting your time, the saw will simply not start.
